17U Kail achieved #2 seed status heading into bracket play.  There, in all three games, 17U Kail won on a walk-off, including:

Quarters: deep double to rightfield gap scored runner from first

Semis: bunt scores runner from third

Finals: groundball w/infield in still scored runner from third

We played awesome defense throughout bracket play.

Perfect Game invited only the best to its exclusive National Select Tournament in June 2021 in East Cobb, GA.  Ranked #42 in the nation, 17U Kail was invited and performed very well until rain suspended the balance of the tournament, but not until we made it to the quarterfinals!  In pool play, we bested three powerhouse teams and only lost by a run in another, earning a place in bracket play where we pulled yet another big upset before the rain came.

FTB Mid Atlantic 17u Kail made a run to the final 16 at Perfect Game WWBA Underclass World Championship in Ft Myers FL. In pool play 17u Kail defeated national power USA Prime, Legends 17u Black and Big Stix Baseball going 3-0 giving up just 2 runs to earn the #6 overall seed out of 197 teams going into bracket play and a key first round bye. In the Round of 32, due to rain games were shortened to 5 innings, 17u Kail matched up against national power East Cobb Astros. In a tight knit contest 17u Kail pitchers continued their dominance in defeating East Cobb 1-0. Moving on to the Final 16 FTB 17u Kail came up against Twelves Baseball out of College Station Texas. In a back and forth game the run of 17u came to an end in extra innings 2-1. A fantastic week for the FTB Mid Atlantic organization. Congrats!
